Dear Robert,

Thanks for you using GPS Phototagger.

Please download the new version of GPS Phototagger from the following URL:

http://www.itravel-tech.com/download/Public/SJA/20090506_portuguese/gpsPhotoTagger_install_sja_pro.exe

There are new driver of prolific inside.

If you still have the mouse's problem, you can try:

1. Turn off the power before you plug-in device into your computer.

2. Plug-in your device to computer

3. Turn on the device

And I am sorry, GPS Phototagger's "Auto-Scan" function can not support bluetooth port yet.

Best regards,

Patrick

I just purchased a nav gear starhiker65 with GPS Phototagger V1.2.2

I am using Win XP SP3 Profesiosional

First it looks like working fine.

No I have problems with communication with GPS device.

I connect in 2 ways

USB, using the usb serialdriver from prolicic (enclosed in CD) Vers. 2.0.2.1 25.7.2005 (may be very old!!!)

Connecting Comport 14 (not in every PC the same)

Sometimes it does not connect (Auto Scan swiched ON!)

Suddenly also my mous pointer goes mad, jumping all around the sreen, starting also other programmes, can not use the mouse anymore, must shut down computer by swichig off line!

Then working with BLUETOOTH, autoscan does not find the connected GPS Device.

Swithing to manual setting com 3, is working.

But it never goes back to 14, when I connect via UBS…….not very keen.

Problms to go back to Bluetooth an after many tryes I got connection an could set to AUTOSCAN.

USB works again!

But Bluetooth with Autoscan impossible.

Are there UPDATES available or can you help?

Can I use other usb-serial drivers?

Thanks for helping me

Robert
